FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Answers to what customers ask most about working with Timp Builderzz.
Don't see your question?
What areas does Timp Builderzz serve?
We serve Utah County and the surrounding Utah Valley area, plus Island Park and Fremont County in Eastern Idaho. If your project is nearby but outside those areas, call Joe at 801.420.1912 — we're happy to talk it through.
Are you a licensed contractor?
Yes. Timpanogos Builderzz, Inc. is a licensed general contractor in both Utah (License #4726509-5501) and Idaho (License #RCE-30549).
What types of projects do you do?
Our specialties are commercial remodels, cabins and painting. As a full-service general contractor we also offer handyman services and handle kitchen and bathroom remodels, home additions and renovations, flooring and tile, doors and windows, framing and finish carpentry, roofing and siding, concrete, drywall, fencing and hauling.
Do you take on small jobs and repairs?
Yes. Whether your job is large or a very small repair, we'll work hard for you. Our handyman services cover repairs and small projects around your home, cabin or business.
Do you remodel offices and other commercial spaces?
Yes — commercial remodels are one of our specialties. We remodel offices, retail spaces and commercial buildings, including tenant improvements and build-outs, and coordinate every trade so the project stays on schedule with as little disruption to your business as possible.
Do you work on cabins in Island Park, Idaho?
Yes. We're licensed in Idaho and do cabin updates and full renovations in Island Park and Fremont County, as well as cabins and mountain properties in Utah — from kitchens and bathrooms to decks, siding, roofing, doors and windows.
Do you do interior and exterior painting?
Yes, for homes, cabins and commercial buildings. Good paint jobs come down to preparation, so we patch, sand, caulk and protect before the first coat for clean lines and a finish that lasts.
Who will I be working with?
You'll work directly with owner Joe Goff. Joe has been building since 1991, holds a degree in Business and Construction Management, and has hands-on experience in nearly every trade. When a sub-contractor handles part of your job, Joe makes sure they're doing the best work possible.
How long has Timp Builderzz been in business?
Timpanogos Builderzz, Inc. was established in 2000. In 2026, Daily Herald readers voted us #1 Best Home Remodeler and #1 Best Home Builder in the Best of Utah Valley.
How do I get a quote?
Request a quote online or call Joe at 801.420.1912. Tell us the type of project, where it is and a little about what you have in mind, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
What should I have ready when I reach out?
It helps to have the project address, a short description of the work, a few photos of the space, any rough measurements, and your ideal timeline. Don't worry if you don't have everything — Joe can help you sort out the details.
How long will my project take?
It depends on the size and scope of the work. Joe will walk you through the expected schedule when he gives you an estimate.
